Rain causes suspension of play at Barclays Singapore Open

Thunder and lightning struck on day three of the Barclays Singapore Open, bringing the US$6 million event to a frustrating standstill.

Play was suspended at 11.54 in the morning as the third round was getting under way at Sentosa Golf Club.

A handful of groups played the opening holes before play was stopped on the Serapong Course to the disappointment of the large galleries who had assembled.
